2. Requirements and installation
Requirements
- Operating system: macOS, Windows 10/11 or Linux (x64).
- An AI agent installed and signed in (at least one):
- Claude Code (the
claudecommand), with a Claude account (Pro or Max plans) or an Anthropic account. - Codex (the
codexcommand), with a ChatGPT or OpenAI account.
- Claude Code (the
- git installed, if you want to share projects with other people or create projects in a repository.
- An internet connection to activate the license and for the agent to talk to its provider.
Installation
- macOS: open the
.dmgfile and drag Team AI Console to the Applications folder. The app is not notarized by Apple yet, so the first time macOS warns that it cannot verify it. This is expected:- On macOS 14 Sonoma or earlier, open it with right-click → Open and confirm.
- On macOS 15 Sequoia and 26 Tahoe, the warning (“Apple could not verify this app is free of malware”) only offers to move it to the Trash. Don’t: close the warning, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section and click Open Anyway next to the message about Team AI Console. Enter your password or use Touch ID, and from then on the app opens normally.
- You need to do this once per version: after installing an update, repeat these steps.
- Windows: run the installer
Team AI Console Setup x.y.z.exe(a portable version is also available). Windows SmartScreen may show a warning the first time. - Linux: use the AppImage file. Make it executable (right-click → Properties → Allow executing, or
chmod +xin the terminal) and open it. From version 0.3.17 the AppImage needs nothing else. Earlier versions need the FUSE 2 library, which Ubuntu does not install by default: if nothing happens when you open them, or the terminal sayslibfuse.so.2is missing, install it withsudo apt install libfuse2t64(on Ubuntu before 24.04,libfuse2) or start the app with./Team-AI-Console-x.y.z.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run. - Do not open the app or the installer from a network folder (NAS or shared folder): copy it to your disk first.
The app looks for the agents in the usual locations on each system. If it cannot find them, you can enter the path to the executable manually in Agents, and later change or remove it.
